Gravity Shelf
Gravity shelves are evolved from pallet shelves, using roller tracks or bottom wheel pallets. Gravity type shelf is one of the derivatives of beam type shelf. The shelf structure is similar to that of beam type shelf, except that roller type track is installed on the beam, and the track is inclined at 3-5 degrees. Gravity shelves use one roadway as storage and one roadway as removal. The drum line is fixed on the shelf beam at a certain angle. The pallet is put in from the high end and slides down along the drum line by its own gravity. In order to control the pallet to slide down at a stable speed and avoid impact, a damping system is set up at a certain distance on the drum line. The faster the pallet slides down, the greater the resistance generated by the damping system. An end separating mechanism is provided at the lower end for separating the two trays adjacent to the lowermost end so that the lowermost end tray can be smoothly removed. Pallet goods are transported to the shelf inlet by forklift, and the pallet automatically slides from the inlet to the pick-up port at the other end by using its own weight, thus truly realizing the principle of "first in, first out. Shelf depth and number of layers can be determined according to customer needs. Gravity shelves are suitable for the storage of small varieties of large quantities of similar goods, and the space utilization rate is extremely high.
